Kathmandu. Madhu Gautam is an insurance agent by profession. She has worked hard to make a name for herself in the insurance market. She is working as an agency manager with Citizen Life Insurance Company. Madhu is currently a member of Citizen Life Insurance Pvt. Ltd.
Madhu was born in 2034 BS in Buddhabhumi Municipality-1, Patharkot of Kapilvastu. His workplace is Banganga Municipality-5. His childhood passed normally. “My parents used to run a grocery store,” she said, adding, “I grew up in a business environment as a child.” My parents ran the shop. I didn’t have much sorrow and I didn’t have much happiness when I was younger. My childhood passed normally. ’
Madhu has completed her studies up to Plus Two. Even after marriage, Madhu started a shop. Because Madhu had grown up in a business environment since she was a child, she was aware of that. While shopping, Madhu’s friend Kamala Joshi asked her to become an insurance agent. Kamala told Madhu, “It’s good to work as an insurance agent.” The job of an agent who can also work part-time in the shop is very good. It is a profession where you can earn as much as you want. It’s a very good profession because you can also insure the customers who come to the shop,” she said.
Madhu was not interested in insurance as she did not understand it. However, at the request of her friend, she got a license from Nepal Life in 2069 BS. After that, Madhu did a little bit of small insurance. She also spent time in the shop and got insurance. He thought he couldn’t get insurance. She didn’t pay much attention.
Madhu’s husband was very interested in the insurance sector. Madhu’s husband had insured 4 people in his family. Later, I learned about insurance. Then in 2076 B.S., Madhu sold her shop and sat idle. In his spare time, Samjhana Acharya and Chanda Poudel, branch managers of Citizen Life, urged him to join the insurance sector. “The insurance sector is good, it can work. Come,” he said. However, Madhu said that she could not get insurance. And since it was time to sell the shop, Madhu felt that she should work for Citizen again. And in 2076 B.S., she got a license from Citizen Life and started working.
After joining Citizen Life, Madhu was able to get good insurance.
With the training provided by the company from time to time, the support and encouragement of the top staff, Madhu was energized and she was able to get the insurance as expected. She also has a lot of support from her husband in the insurance sector. With the support of her family and company, Madhu has become a successful woman agent in the insurance sector.
Earlier, Madhu used to feel bad about the profession of an agent because she did not understand the insurance. Now that she understands the insurance, she says that the profession of an agent has made her very good. “In the past, people used to say that they would run away with money when they did not understand the insurance,” she said. There are no bad accusations. Insurance can be easily submitted. Now I am proud to work as an agent. I am very satisfied. ’
Madhu says that she has changed a lot after entering the insurance sector. “I am financially strong,” she said. I am able to speak freely and express myself freely. My personality has changed. Positive thoughts have come. Becoming an insurance agent has really changed my life. ’
Madhu believes that the profession of an agent is punya. “I have become an agent and asked people to get insurance in the society. I’ve been informed to protect people’s lives,” she said. When I came to Citizen Life and got the insurance, I had a claim. The claim payment company made it easy. Moreover, this inspired me a lot to move forward in the insurance sector. ’
According to Madhu, insurance is essential for everyone. “Tomorrow may not be the same time as today. A person’s life is not always the same. You have to be insured for tomorrow. Insurance is the support for old age, a companion in times of crisis and calamity,” she said, “Insurance becomes a charioteer to reduce the compensation for financial events that occur in life.” That’s why you have to be insured because you are earning now. ’
Madhu believes that having insurance is a must to inculcate the habit of saving small amounts of money and it will ensure a bright future. Madhu has to be diligent about his profession as an agent. He believes that anyone who is constantly engaged can be successful in this profession. “The more hard work you put into this profession, the more you earn,” she said, adding, “An insurance agent should be hardworking, honest, patient, able to submit insurance and listen to customers.” ’
When asked about the nature of the new entrants to the agent’s profession, Madhu said, “Insurance is good in terms of income if you work continuously. Hard work is a profession that makes you mature ahead of time. It’s very good because it’s financially strong. It’s a very good profession because it can be taken up as part time as well. ’
Madhu has received the award under the Silver Club from the company. She is also an MDRT. She is also a graduate of Citizen Life.
