Kathmandu. The appointment process of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of The Insurance Institute of Nepal (IIN) has been delayed. IIN has again published the notice saying that there are not enough applications for appointment to the post of chief executive and there is no expected presentation from those in the short list.
In a public notice, IIN said that a 15-day notice has been published for new applications to make the appointment of ceo more competitive.
A total of five candidates had applied for the post of CHIEF Executive Officer of IIN. Three out of the five were recommended for a brief list by the selection committee. In the final list, Buddhakaji Shrestha Sujan Subedi and Dr. Laxmikant Padel was in trouble.
As there was no coordination between their presentation and the expectations of the organization, the board of directors decided to publish the notice again to make chhanaat more competitive by collecting as many candidacies as possible by spreading wide publicity.

If you want to give a job to someone, then appoint someone from whatever they are, a member of IIN said, adding that the aim is to take more competitors with the ability and vision to meet the short-term and long-term goals of the organization.
IIN Chairman Sushil Dev Subedi said that the appointment process would be finalized soon.
It is believed that the application could not be registered from the competitors as the service facilities and remuneration provided by the government-owned IIN are less than the training institutes run by the private sector. According to experts, only if the remaining salary or incentives are provided to the competent competitors on the basis of achieving the performance goal, then they can now get the leadership that can compete with institutions like Banking and Insurance Institute, KFA, Nepal Banking Institute in the private sector.
