Kathmandu. For the first time in the history of nepal’s vehicles, a scooter has successfully completed its adventure journey up to Jangla Pass (Upper Dolpa) located at an altitude of 5300 meters. Nepal Eight Wonder Team in collaboration with Syakar Trading Company completed this record journey with Honda Dio 125 scooter.
According to the company, the exhibition of scooters manufactured for urban travel by entering the mountainous terrain has redefined the boundaries of Nepali motor travel. The journey from Kathmandu to Dolpa, jomsom, Verol, Dho Tarap to Jangla Pass was not easy. Honda DIO 125 completed the journey without any major mechanical problems, continuously crossing the rocky roads, rivers and gardens, facing lack of oxygen.
This extraordinary success is the result of state-of-the-art technologies included in the scooter including 123.92cc BS6 engine, enhanced smart power (ESP), silent start with ACG, eyedeling system, combined braking system (CBS). In addition, features such as telescopic front suspension, three-step adjustable rear suspension, digital meter, USB charging port, and large boot space make the long and challenging journey easier.
According to the Nepal 8th Wonder team, this journey is not only a test of the scooter’s capability, it is also an inspirational message. He said, “If you have the right thinking, dedicated team and a trustworthy ride with you, no remote destination is far away. According to him, this journey has become an inspiring chapter in Nepali motoring history. The Honda Dio 125 is no longer just a city scooter, but a ‘Mission Complete’ vehicle ready to reach beyond the destination.
