Kathmandu. Himalayan Life Insurance Company Limited has launched a book titled ‘Life Insurance Knowledge Guidance’ for readers and insurance professionals interested in life insurance and insurance.
The insurance company has published this book as part of its corporate social responsibility for the promotion of insurance.
Executive Director of Nepal Insurance Authority Sushil Dev Subedi, Directors Pramila KC, Ashish Dhakal, Sachin Acharya and Chief Executive Officer Manoj Lal Karna jointly released the book.
Addressing the launch program, Executive Director Subedi said that the publication of the book in favor of providing basic knowledge about insurance to the citizens is a tolerable task as the insurer has to bear both the responsibility of providing insurance services and providing insurance.
He said, “Together, we should take insurance awareness and awareness forward as a mission, the authority is always with you in this journey.”
Pramila KC, director of the company, said that the book contains the knowledge, experience and practice of the insurance sector. She expressed the belief that this book would be useful textbook for all those directly or indirectly involved in insurance.
The book covers the basic introduction of insurance, principles of insurance, insurance policy, risk assessment, documents required for insurance, insurance fees and bonuses, insurance agents, insurance agents and taxes, insurance claims, insurance dedication, insurance loans, paid-up value, supplementary contracts, fatal disease treatment facilities, etc.
This is the second book published by the Life Insurance Company for the promotion and awareness of life insurance. Earlier, Asian Life Insurance had published a book titled ‘Insurance Knowledge’ written by Acting Deputy CEO Murari Raj Humagain.
