Kathmandu. The government has announced that the health insurance program will be restructured. Finance Minister Poudel said this while presenting the budget for the fiscal year 2082/83 BS on Thursday.
Effective implementation and scope of legal provisions in this regard will be expanded. The benefit bag of the insured will be gradually increased. The social health security program will be integrated into the health insurance program. Duplicity will be removed to prevent misuse of the insurance facility provided to the insured to choose different policies. Leakage control and institutional governance will be maintained. Insurance facilities of senior citizens, Dalits, very poor and disabled minority communities will be provided continuously.
