Kathmandu. Shikhar Insurance has so far paid around Rs 30 crore to the property damaged in the riots and arson during the Genji agitation.
In a press release today, the company informed about the payment of property claims made during the Genji agitation so far. “Shikhar Insurance has been providing customer friendly service and speedy claim settlement to the insured in terms of the recent difficult situation,” the company said in a statement.
According to the press release, the company has paid claims of Rs 300 million to more than 40 insured people in a short span of time due to the losses incurred during the agitation on September 23 and 24. “In line with Shikhar Insurance’s commitment to support the journey of nation reconstruction, we have been making the claim payment fast, easy and transparent to provide immediate relief to the insured customers and to make the nation’s economic activities dynamic,” the statement reads. We have been facilitating the customer directly for the evaluation. ’
