Ex-King Gyanendra makes public his opinion on Jenji’s movement

Kathmandu. Former King Gyanendra Shah has said that the Genji movement should not be violent and intrusive.

According to a press release issued by the Dialogue Secretariat of the former King Shah, the former King was of the view that this movement of the next generation (Genji) should not turn violent, should not be anarchic and no one should infiltrate in it. “He also wants to find a solution to the problem from within the country keeping in mind the issues of good governance and financial discipline.

“The anger of promising teenagers and youths who had come forward with the aim of doing something good for the country and society on September 23 through protests in most major cities of the country including Kathmandu has certainly become a matter of public concern,” the statement said. “The killing of hundreds of people and injuring hundreds of people without addressing the legitimate demands of the youths is very sad and condemnable,” the statement reads. ’

The entire family including the former King has expressed heartfelt condolence to the deceased. He also wished speedy recovery to all the injured.
