Kathmandu. The IPO of Bikas Hydropower Company has been allotted today.
The IPO was allotted at 9:30 am today at the office of Prabhu Capital, the sales manager of the securities. The IPO has been open for sale for the general public from July 14 to July 15.
In the second phase, the company had reserved 70,910 units of ordinary shares for employees and 177,275 units for mutual funds and the remaining 2,942,760 units for the general public. A total of 2,150,672 people had applied for 26,148,350 units of shares in the IPO.
Out of the total applications, 23,483,090 units of shares from 2,043,686 people have been approved. A total of 2,665,260 units of shares received from the remaining 106,986 people have been cancelled.
The IPO has been allotted through gola system due to more applications than the demand. A total of 294,276 applicants have got 10 units of shares. In this way, the hands of 17 lakh 49 thousand 410 applicants have been empty.
