Kathmandu. DAV Business School and Human Resources Society Nepal jointly organized the second edition of DAV Corporate Futsal Competition 2025. The competition, which ran from July 30 to August 2, promoted friendship, group spirit, business network expansion and healthy lifestyle among industry, business and academia.
A total of 32 corporate teams from various sectors including banking, insurance, trading, IT, automobile and manufacturing participated in the competition. Prior to the tournament, team captains, managers and representatives held discussions with the organizing committee led by Rajesh Kumar Chaudhary, MBA program coordinator of DAV Business School.
President of Human Resources Society Nepal, Tek Raj Sharma, spoke about the importance of industry-academia partnership. Bharat Khawas, former captain of the Nepal national football team, stressed on the role of sports for a healthy mind and body.
Anil Kedia, President, DAV Business School formally inaugurated the competition as a medium of professional unity and perseverance.
The final match between Dish Home and Code Himalaya ended in an exciting manner after passing 32 league matches and 15 knockout stages. Dish Home won a cash prize of Rs 100,000, a trophy and a medal. The runners-up, Kod Himalaya, received Rs 55,000, a trophy and a medal. All the 32 participating teams, sponsors and referees were also presented certificates of appreciation.
The competition has achieved great success in expanding professional networks, group spirit and health promotion among the participants. Participants expressed their eagerness to participate in the upcoming editions.
