Kathmandu. A curfew order has been issued in the Tinkune area of Kathmandu.
After the ongoing royalist demonstration in Tinkune today turned chaotic, the District Administration Office, Kathmandu, has issued a curfew order from Shantinagar Bridge to Manohara Khola Bridge. Before issuing the curfew order, the police had miked.
The curfew order has been issued until 10 pm. Until then, movement, gatherings, rallies, demonstrations, etc. will not be allowed.
Before that, royalist protesters vandalized the Bhatbhateni Superstore in Koteshwor and also set fire to the Unified Socialist Party office in Aloknagar, near Tinkunai. They also set fire to a car and vandalized a motorcycle.
Similarly, the protesters are said to have attempted to set fire to the building housing the Annapurna Post office in Tinkunai. They pelted stones there.
The central office of the Unified Socialist Party in Aloknagar, Kathmandu, has also been set on fire. Before that, they had set fire to a house in Tinkune.
