Kathmandu. At a time when cases of corona infection are increasing rapidly in two Asian countries Hong Kong and Singapore, alarming statistics are now appearing in India. This data has once again worried the whole world.
Singapore has recorded a 28 per cent increase in coronavirus cases, while Hong Kong has recorded 31 serious cases in a week.
Singapore has been put on high alert after the estimated number of COVID-19 cases reached 14,200. The number of hospitalizations has also increased by almost 30 percent.
Meanwhile, cases of corona infection are increasing rapidly in India. With the detection of 164 new covid-19 cases since May 12, the total number of active COVID-19 cases has reached 257. Kerala, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu are at the forefront.
The Ministry of Health has said that the situation is currently under control in the increasing cases of corona in India. On Monday, a review meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Director General of Health Services with experts from the National Centre for Disease Control, Emergency Medical Treatment Department, Disaster Management Cell, Indian Council of Medical Research and central government hospitals.
Informing after the meeting, the official claimed that COVID-19 is currently under control in India. According to the Health Ministry, the number of active cases in India was 257 as of May 19. Which is a very small number considering the large population of the country. – Agency
