Kathmandu. China’s state media has reacted to the 104 percent tariff imposed by the US.
When the tariff was implemented in China, the social network ‘Yu Yuan Tan Tian’, affiliated with state-run China CCTV, made a post related to the tariff. The post was written on the Chinese microblogging platform Weibo.
‘We do not cause trouble, but we are not afraid of trouble. The Chinese people do not like pressure and intimidation,’ the post reads. It reiterates that China will fight to the end. In addition, China has also made it clear that the path to negotiations is still open.
It says, “China will neither weaken nor bow down. We will show the world that we will firmly uphold the rules of international trade.” –Agency
