Kathmandu. This is the first statement from neighboring China about the Zenji movement in Nepal.
On Wednesday, China made its first statement on the ongoing Zhenji rebellion in Nepal. China has called on all parties in Nepal to properly handle domestic issues and restore social order and stability.
Commenting on the situation in Nepal at a media briefing, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian said, “China and Nepal have traditionally enjoyed friendly neighbourly relations. We hope that all sections of Nepal will handle domestic issues appropriately, restore social order and regional stability as soon as possible. ’
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli had to resign and the government was toppled due to the Zenji movement that started in Nepal over the ban on social media. However, China has not commented on Oli’s resignation.
