Kathmandu. China has lifted a ban on boeing aircraft delivery.
According to a report published in Bloomberg, China has issued a notice in the name of domestic airlines, saying that it can resume delivery of Us-made Boeing aircraft.
After a tariff agreement with the UNITED States, China has decided to lift the ban on boeing aircraft delivery. A month ago, China banned its airlines from delivering new Boeing aircraft. This decision of the Chinese government was in response to the 145 percent tariff of the US. China has also banned the import of aircraft parts made in the US.
The US and China signed a trade deal in Geneva on May 12. The two countries had agreed to cut tariffs by 115 per cent for 90 days.
Boeing sold 668 aircraft to China between 2015 and 2020. China will need 8,830 new aircraft by 2043. Boeing’s main rival Airbus does not have the ability to supply aircraft to China. Boeing has an important role to play in this. – Agency
