CG Corp brings in Hussain for product category development and research

Kathmandu. Nepali multinational company, CG Corp Global has appointed Asim Hussain as Global Head of Segment Development and Research and Development. The company believes that his appointment will prove to be a significant milestone for the company in the food technology industry.

According to MenaFN, Hussain, with over a decade and a half of experience in this role, has established himself as a key driver of innovation and quality enhancement in the food processing sector, with knowledge and expertise. In his previous stints, he worked as Head NPD at Mrs. Bector’s Cremica, Future Group Own Brands, and Food Scientist in his early career with Nylons and Tata Tea.

He has expertise in processing areas such as bakery, extrusion, frying, roasting, dehydration, emulsion, gelatinization, curing, IQF, and freeze-drying. He holds a B.Tech in Process and Food Technology from AAIDU, Allahabad.

A Diploma in Operations Management from Mumbai, Velingkar is expected to lead innovation in noodles, biscuits, and snacks through cutting-edge technology in research and development.
