Kathmandu. The government has called upon the savers, members and moneylenders of various distressed co-operative societies to submit an online claim application for the amount.
The Office of the Cooperative Management Committee under the Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation has issued a notice today calling for this. The committee has called upon the savers, members and moneylenders of Shree Idol Model Hamro Multipurpose Co-operative Society based in Nayabazar, Kathmandu, our Sagarmatha Multipurpose Co-operative Society, Our Sagarmatha Multipurpose Cooperative Society, Citizen Welfare Multipurpose Co-operative Society, Ghudung Multipurpose Co-operative Society and Ideal Yamuna Multipurpose Cooperative Society to submit their lena amount online.
The cooperative societies were declared problematic by a ministerial-level decision on March 29. After that, a letter was sent to the committee for the management of the assets and payment of liabilities of these organizations.
The committee has requested to go to the committee’s website within 35 days from the date of publication of this notice and submit the claim through online.
