Kathmandu. New Delhi: Indian entrepreneur Anil Ambani’s difficulties have worsened after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) raided and booked him on charges of criminal conspiracy, cheating and criminal breach of trust.
New Delhi: The State Bank of India (SBI) has declared the loan accounts of Reliance Communications and Anil Ambani as “fraud” (criminal breach of trust). The bank has claimed that the loan amount has been made for a wrong purpose and the terms and conditions of the loan have not been fully complied with. Many other people are involved in this fraud.
A day earlier on Saturday, the CBI had raided Ambani’s residence and offices.
According to Indian news agencies, The Bank of India has informed Reliance Telecom that there has been criminal breach of trust in the loan account. Along with this, the company’s directors Grace Thoth and Satish Seth have also been included in the list of fraudsters. A loan of Rs 51.77 crore is pending against them. Prior to SBI Bank, Canara Bank had also declared RCom a fraud.
The Madhya Pradesh Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed a case against the State Bank of India (SBI) in connection with a fraud of Rs 2.92 billion.
