Kathmandu. The list of the world’s cleanest airports has been released. This list has been made public by Skytrax.
The United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia are among the top 10 cleanest airports in the world. Asian countries dominate the top 10 cleanest airports.
Four of the top 10 clean airports are in Japan. South Korea, Singapore, Qatar, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Switzerland also have one airport each.
According to Skytrax, the cleanest airport in the world is Haneda Airport in Tokyo, Japan. Seoul’s Incheon Airport is in second place. Singapore’s Changi Airport is in third place. Qatar’s capital Doha’s Hamad Airport is in fourth place.
Similarly, Japan’s Nagoya Airport is in fifth place. Tokyo’s Narita Airport is in sixth place and Kansai Airport is in seventh place. Kansai Airport is the closest airport to Osaka, Kyoto, and Kobe.
Hong Kong Airport is ranked eighth on the list. Taiwan’s Taoyuan Airport is ninth and Europe’s Zurich Airport is tenth.
