A meeting of the board of directors of the company held on Sunday proposed to distribute a dividend of Rs 182.517 million, which is 5.3684 percent of the current paid-up capital of Rs 3.39 billion. Of this, 5.10 percent is a bonus share of Rs 173.39 million and a cash dividend of Rs 9,125,876 for tax purposes of 0.2684 percent.
According to the company, the proposed dividend will be distributed after approval from the Nepal Insurance Authority after approval from the upcoming Annual General Meeting.
According to the company, the remaining amount after the distribution of dividend from the distributable profit will be kept in the reserve fund.
