Kathmandu. Micro-life insurers have done business of more than Rs 1 billion in the 11 months of the current fiscal year.
According to the data released by the Nepal Insurance Authority (NEA) today, three micro-life insurers have earned a total insurance premium of Rs 1.09 billion by selling 1,662,326 insurance policies till May.
Gardin Micro Life is the largest business bringer in these 11 months. The company has sold 1,120,682 policies and earned a total insurance premium of Rs 41.36 crore.
Similarly, Crest Micro Life earned Rs 399.4 million in insurance premium by selling 394,401 insurance policies.
Liberty Micro Life has earned a total insurance premium of Rs 285 million by selling 147,240 insurance policies till May.
