Kathmandu. Dr. Shrestha has helped to establish Ullens School as a school of elite families among Nepali parents. Arzoo Rana Deuba has resigned from the post of chairperson of the school’s management committee.
Schools in both Budhanilkantha and Dhapakhel have been completely destroyed in the attack and arson that took place on September 24 due to the propaganda that was also invested by the outgoing Foreign Minister Deuba.
According to the school administration, he resigned at a meeting of the management committee.
Now, in order to keep the school free from political cover, it has been agreed that the parents will elect a trustee with the involvement of the parents of the students.
The school has continued to conduct online classes after the fire destroyed the school bus and physical infrastructures.
Issuing a press release on Wednesday, the school said that the Board of Trustees of the Ullens Foundation appointed Deuba to the school management committee as per the provisions of the Education Act. No one other than the chairman of the management committee is involved and both the school is run and owned by the Ullens Education Foundation.
“Rumors have been spread,” Ullens said in a statement. Dr. Deuba refuted this propaganda time and again, but the media, civil society, talukdar bodies, and the community all acted as if they had not seen the fast pace of this rumor, which has become a victim of the Ullens today.
