Kathmandu. Api Power is going to acquire Divya Jyoti Hydropower Company.
A meeting of the Board of Directors of Api Power on Tuesday decided to buy all the shares of the company. Divya Jyoti Hydropower is currently promoting the 50 MW Marsyangdi Besi Hydropower Project in Lamjung district.
According to Api Power, the project has been planned to be constructed and operated from an economic and technical point of view. For the same reason, it has also been decided to buy all the shares of Divya Jyoti Hydropower and run the company in such a way that the management of the company will be completely owned by Api Power, said Company Secretary of Api Power Sujan Adhikari.
The board meeting also decided to authorize the company’s executive director Sanjeev Neupane to decide the draft and conditions of the contract between the parties and to sign the agreement with full authority to acquire Divya Jyoti Hydropower.
