Kathmandu. Ahmedabad: The son of a woman who died in an Air India AI-171 crash in Ahmedabad has moved a US court seeking justice.

Heer Prajapati, the son of Kalpana Ben Prajapati, who died in the plane crash, has filed a lawsuit in the US federal court against Boeing, demanding speedy justice. Speaking to AAI, Heer said they have assigned lawyer Mike Andrews to fight the case. “We’ve given Mike Andrews the responsibility to fight the case. We hope that the details of the information received from the black box will come to us as soon as possible. So that we can decide on further action with our lawyer. ’

“In India, the issues are prolonged for years. We’re fighting a case in the United States,” Heer said, “so that the verdict can be delivered quickly.” ’

Heer expressed gratitude to the Government of India, security personnel and doctors for their support to the family. “We are confident that we will get justice. The Government of India helped us a lot when the incident took place. Security personnel also helped us. We are also grateful to the doctors who handed over the bodies to us immediately after the DNA test,” he said. ’

According to Heer, he had earlier scheduled a flight for his mother on June 11. “However, at the request of our mother, we changed it on June 12,” he said. I had earlier booked a flight for her on June 9 but she fasted and told me she could not travel that day. So I changed the flight schedule for June 11. But she told me she didn’t want to travel on a strange date. So I finally booked the ticket for June 12. ’

“Families are looking for answers,” chief lawyer Mike Andrews, who represents the families of more than 65 victims of the plane crash, told ANI. It’s been a very difficult day for everyone. The families organized a candle light march in memory. We are grateful to be invited to join us. There is no word to think of destruction. The families are now looking back for answers. ’

On June 12, Air India flight NUMBER AI-171 Boeing 787-8 crashed shortly after taking off from Ahmedabad’s Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport. A total of 260 people, including 229 passengers, 12 crew members and 19 passengers, were killed.
