Kathmandu. Passenger vehicles have been banned from evening to morning for 15 days from Today on the BP Highway.
Issuing a notice today, the District Administration Office, Sindhuli has banned the operation of public and private passenger vehicles from Khurkot on the BP Highway to Kathmandu from 6.30 pm to 5 am. According to the administration, this decision has been taken as the monsoon is active in the country at present, due to which there will be a disaster situation due to rain at any time.
The decision was taken at a joint security meeting of Kavrepalchowk, Sindhuli and Ramechhap. The administrations of all the three districts have taken this decision to be cautious about the safety of passengers and vehicles during the rainy season.
The District Security Committee Sindhuli has apologized for the inconvenience caused to the passengers.
