Kathmandu. So far, 12 insurance companies have declared dividend for the financial year 2081/82. So far, 7 life insurance companies and 5 non-life insurance companies have declared dividends. Similarly, National Life Insurance, Sanima Life Insurance, Prabhu Mahalaxmi Life Insurance, Sun Nepal Life Insurance, IME Life Insurance, Nepal Life Insurance, Nepal Life Insurance, Citizen Life Insurance and Sagarmatha Life Insurance have declared dividends while IGI Prudential Insurance has declared non-life insurance premiums.

These companies have announced the results of the distribution to their shareholders from the profits of the last financial year.

The company has declared a dividend of 5% of its current paid-up capital from the profit of the last FY. The company has decided to distribute 5 percent cash dividend. The company has not fixed the book closing date for the AGM and dividend distribution.

Nepal Insurance

The company has declared a total dividend of 6.3158% to its shareholders from the profit of the last FY. The company will distribute 6.3158 percent cash dividend. The company has not fixed the book closing date for the AGM and dividend distribution.

Shikhar Insurance Company

Companies declaring dividends towards life insurance

IME Life Insurance

The company has declared a dividend of 10.5263 percent of its current paid-up capital from the profit of the last FY. The company has decided to distribute 10.5263 percent cash dividend.

The company has decided to close the book on December 26 for the purpose of dividend and AGM. This means that only shareholders who have remained in the company as of December 9 will be eligible to receive the dividend and participate in the meeting. December 10 is a public holiday on Christmas Day.

Nepal Life

The company has decided to distribute 21.05 percent dividend on its paid-up capital from the profit of the last FY. The company has decided to distribute 21.05 percent cash dividend including 5 percent bonus shares and tax on dividends.

The company has decided to close the book on December 23 for the purpose of dividend and Annual General Meeting. This means that only the shareholders who have been in the company before December 7 will be eligible to receive the dividend and participate in the meeting.

Citizen Life

The company has decided to distribute 20 percent dividend on its paid-up capital from the profit of the last FY. The company will distribute 20 percent cash dividend.

The company will close its book on December 24 for the purpose of AGM and dividend distribution. Therefore, the shareholders who have been traded in NEPSE till December 23 will be eligible to receive dividend and participate in the AMIC.

Sun Nepal Life

The company has announced a total dividend of 20.2632 percent to its shareholders from the profit of the last FY. The company has decided to distribute 5 percent bonus shares and 15.2632 percent cash dividend for tax purposes.
