Kathmandu. The stock market rose by double digits on Wednesday. The NEPSE index increased by 12.17 points to close at 2607.42.
With the rise in the market, 11 sub-groups of NEPSE sub-group increased while two sub-groups decreased. The finance group was the biggest gainer with a 3.41 per cent rise while the hotel and tourism group saw the biggest decline of 0.45 per cent.
On this day, the share prices of 149 companies increased and 90 declined. Shares of 12 companies have remained stable today.
The market was traded at Rs 4.68 billion today. The highest turnover was made by Union Hydropower.
