Kathmandu. The exchange of banknotes for this year’s Bada Dashain festival will be open from September 29.
Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has allowed the exchange of banknotes for the upcoming Dashain festival. The general public will not be allowed to exchange new banknotes.
Arrangements have been made for the exchange of Sukila Naat till September 10. The central bank’s currency notes can be exchanged from the central bank’s Currency Management Department at Thapathali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Birgunj, Pokhara, Siddharthanagar, Nepalgunj and Dhangadhi.
Similarly, the general public as well as organizations can exchange the dry notes from the branch offices of the banks and financial institutions.
