The supreme court is expected to pass an order on the writ petition filed against Ojha today. The hearing of his petition is number five.

A writ petition was filed in the Supreme Court on March 27 regarding the qualifications and work experience of Ojha, who was appointed as the chairman of the NRA on the basis of political division. Advocate Indira Dhamala, who is also an agent of National Life Insurance Company, has filed a writ petition against Ojha for submitting a fake work experience certificate to become the chairman of the Insurance Authority. The office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, the Ministry of Finance and the Insurance Authority have also been made defendants in the petition filed by Advocate Dhamala.

The writ petition against Chairman Ojha has been fixed 10 times including today. A joint bench of Justices Prakash Man Singh Raut and Nityanand Pandey had on May 12 ordered the cabinet to appoint Ojha as chairman.

Similarly, a single bench of Justice Nahakul Subedi of the Supreme Court had refused to pass an interim order against Ojha. Subedi’s bench issued a show-cause order in the name of the government and summoned both the parties for discussion.

Earlier, the writ petitions were not allowed to be seen on April 10, April 15, May 20 and April 15, and on April 15 and April 15.
