Kathmandu. The stock market rose by double digits on Wednesday. The NEPSE index rose 17.44 points to close at 2,693.06.
Nine sub-groups have increased and four have decreased as the market has increased. Banking sector fell the most by 1.88 per cent, while microfinance and non-life insurance groups fell the most by 0.26 per cent.
Today, the share price of 148 companies has increased in the market and 97 companies have decreased. Shares of two companies remained stable on this day.
More than Rs 8.5 billion has been traded in the market today. Ngadi Group Power has done the most business.
