Kathmandu. Monetary policy has had a positive impact on the stock market. The stock market rose by double digits on Sunday, the first trading day after the announcement of the monetary policy.
The NEPSE index rose 29 points to 2,760.80 points today. On this day, eight groups in the NEPSE sub-group have increased and five groups have decreased. Today, microfinance group has decreased the most by 3.50 percent, while hydropower group has decreased by 0.83 percent.
Shares of 158 companies have increased in the market today. Shares of 90 companies have fallen on this day.
Today, the market has made a transaction of Rs 11.41 billion. NIC Asia Bank has the highest turnover.
