Kathmandu. Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel has said that Nepal will exit the grey list ahead of schedule.
Finance Minister Poudel expressed this view in a brief response after the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) placed Nepal on the grey list.
‘This situation has arisen due to the failure to complete the scheduled work within the stipulated time in the past. Nepal’s action plan has been approved by the Paris meeting,’ Poudel said, ‘We will exit the grey list ahead of schedule by working effectively according to the action plan.’
