Kathmandu. Suryajyoti Life Insurance Company is offering up to 50 percent interest subvention for the revival of life insurance policy. Issuing a notice, the company informed that it has introduced a discount of up to 50 percent on the interest charged for renewing the insurance policy. This 50 percent discount will be given to those who are not more than 5 years of age from the expired date and 35 percent discount will be given to those who are above 5 years of age from the expired date.
The company has clarified that this discount facility will be available from June 15 to June 15. Life insurance companies offer such discounts only once during the insurance period. This exemption will not be applicable to the insurance policies that mature till July 1, 2019.
Similarly, if the insurance policies included in this discount scheme are surrendered within one year from the date of renaissance, the entire amount of the late fee exemption facility provided will be deducted.
