United Ajod Insurance’s net insurance premium rises 7% to Rs 216.4 million

Kathmandu. United Ajod Insurance Company has released the revised financial statements for the fourth quarter of the last fiscal year 2081/82. During the review period, the company’s profit and total insurance fee decreased.

The company has a share capital of Rs 2.31 billion and retained earnings of Rs 100.6 million at the end of the review period. Other equities are worth Rs 606.1 million. As of the review year, the company has a disaster fund of Rs 45.1 million. There is 1 billion 2 billion in the special reserve.

In the same period of the previous year, the company’s retained earnings stood at Rs 94.1 million. Other equities stood at Rs 707.8 million. The disaster fund was Rs 39.7 million. The special reserve had rs 912.9 million.

In the review year, the company earned a total insurance premium of Rs 2.82 billion. In the same period of the previous fiscal year, the company had earned a total insurance premium of Rs 2.94 billion. Compared to the same period of the previous fiscal year, the company’s total insurance revenue has decreased slightly.

In this review year, the company has spent Rs 1.65 billion through reinsurance. In the same period of the previous fiscal year, the company had spent Rs 1.85 billion.

The company earned Rs 1.17 billion in net insurance premium in the review year. In the same period of the previous fiscal year, the company had earned Rs 1.09 billion in net insurance premium. Compared to the previous year, the company’s net insurance revenue has increased by 7.33 percent.

According to the financial statement, the company earned a profit of Rs 216.4 million in the review year. In the same period of the previous fiscal year, the company had earned a profit of Rs 248.4 million. Compared to the previous fiscal year, the company’s profit has decreased in the review period.

In the review year, the company’s earnings per share was Rs 9.37. The price-to-earnings ratio is 61 times. The net worth per share is Rs 176.76.
