Kathmandu. Tribhuvan University (TU) has opened new admissions for bachelor in data science and b-math science in actuarial science.
Students who have passed Class 12, A level or CTEVT from the Faculty of Science and Management can apply for the course.
At least 1.8 CGPA with C grade in Mathematics, 100 integer mathematics in second class with proficiency certificate level, D grade in A level examination, 100 full marks mathematics subject in three year diploma level from CTEVT and at least second class with mathematics subject of 100 full marks.
The application forms will remain open from July 15 to July 15. Interested students will have to apply through the website } of Tribhuvan University. According to the university, the students who pass the entrance examination will be admitted on a priority basis. The examination application fee has been fixed at Rs 2,000.
Of the total 40 admission quota for each subject, 80 per cent will be open and the remaining 20 per cent will be admitted on the basis of inclusive quota.
The entrance test will be held at Tribhuvan University Mathematics Science School, Balkhu. The question paper for the entrance exam will include questions based on mathematics, English, general knowledge and acuity.
