Kathmandu. Trust Micro Insurance for the financial year 2082. The company has published its unrevised financial statements for the first quarter (July-September) of 2018.

According to the financial report, the company has earned a profit of Rs 1,53,000 in the first three months of the current FY. Previous fiscal year 2081. The company had posted a loss of Rs 79.53 lakh till mid-September 2018.

During the review period, the company has Rs 54,75,000 in special reserve, Rs 5,47,000 in catastrophe fund, Rs 48,18,000 in retained earnings and Rs 22,03,000 in other equity. As of mid-July of the previous year, it had Rs 53.98 lakh in special reserve, Rs 5.39 lakh in catastrophe fund, Rs 47.50 lakh in retained earnings and Rs 22.21 lakh in other equities.

As of mid-September of the current fiscal year, the company’s insurance fund stood at Rs 15.14 crore. In the same period of the previous year, the insurance fund was Rs 12.56 crore. The size of the company’s insurance fund increased by 20.54 percent in the review period compared to the previous year.

During the review period, the company earned a total insurance premium of Rs 6.76 crores. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 94.26 crore in the same period. The company’s total premium has increased by 617.38 percent compared to the previous year.

The company has earned Rs 2.51 crore in net insurance premium till mid-September of the current fiscal year. The company had earned a net insurance premium of Rs 29.88 lakh in the same period of the previous FY. Compared to the previous year, the company’s net premium income increased by 740.93 percent.

The company’s net profit (EPS) has increased to Rs 0.03 from Rs 52.50 crore. The EPS was negative at Rs 1.51 a year ago.
