Kathmandu. The stock market rose by double digits today. On the day, the NEPSE index increased by 16.67 points to close at 2503.85 points.
With the rise in the market, 10 sub-groups of NEPSE sub-group have increased while three have fallen. The non-life insurance group fell the most by 0.34 per cent while other groups increased by 1.16 per cent.
Shares of 163 companies have increased in the market today. Shares of 78 companies fell on the day, while 8 remained unchanged.
The market was traded worth more than Rs 3.75 billion today. Nepal Reinsurance Company has made the highest turnover in the country.
