Kathmandu. The stock market fell by double digits on Wednesday. On the day, the NEPSE index decreased by 27.89 points to close at 2654.35.
As many as 11 sub-groups of NEPSE sub-group decreased while two others increased. Other groups fell the most by 2.16 percent while hotel and tourism group increased the most by 0.85 percent.
On this day, the share prices of 53 companies increased while 193 companies declined. Today, the share prices of 5 companies are stable.
The market was traded at Rs 4.12 billion today. The highest turnover was made by Union Hydropower.
