Top 10 companies traded in the stock market today

Kathmandu. The stock market rose on Monday. The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index increased by 9.78 points to close at 2,550.36.

As many as 11 sub-groups of NEPSE sub-group increased while two others declined. On the day, the development bank group increased by 1.50 percent and the other group fell by 0.49 percent.

Shares of 167 companies have increased in the market today. Shares of 76 companies fell on the day, while 13 remained unchanged.

Around Rs 4 billion was traded in the market today. Most of the trading was in the energy sector.
