Kathmandu. On Thursday, the last trading day of the week, the stock market fell by double digits. The NEPSE index decreased by 11.29 points to close at 2596.12.
With the fall in the market, only two sub-groups of NEPSE sub-group have increased while 11 have fallen. On the day, the mutual fund group increased the most by 0.12 percent while the non-life insurance group fell by 0.99 percent.
Share prices of 77 companies increased while 165 groups declined. On this day, the share prices of 9 companies are stable.
The market was traded at Rs 5.41 billion today. Shivam Cement was the most traded on the day.
