Kathmandu. The stock market fell by double digits on Wednesday. On the day, the NEPSE index decreased by 20.56 points to close at 2544.59.
Out of the 13 sub-groups in the NEPSE sub-group, one has increased while the remaining 12 have fallen. During the day, the production and processing group increased by 0.23 percent while the trade group decreased by 2.35 percent.
Today, the share prices of 49 companies increased while 198 companies declined. Shares of 7 companies remained stable on this day.
The market was traded at Rs 3.84 billion today. This is the highest turnover of NRN infrastructure on this day.
