Kathmandu. On the last trading day of the week, the stock market rose by double digits. The NEPSE index increased by 34.22 points to close at 2,600.38.
Following the rise in the NEPSE sub-group, 12 sub-groups have increased while one group has fallen. The hydropower group was the top gainer by 2.67 per cent while the mutual fund group fell by 0.18 per cent.
Today, the share prices of 216 companies have increased and 28 have fallen. On this day, the share prices of 5 companies are stable.
More than Rs 7.5 billion was traded in the market today. Himalayan Bank’s promoter group has made the most turnover.
