Kathmandu. Today is the last day to secure the dividend of Miteri Development Bank.
The bank has decided to close its book from November 6 to November 6 for the purpose of AGM and dividend distribution. This means that only the shareholders who have remained in the bank as of November 20 will be eligible to receive the dividend and participate in the meeting.
The bank has decided to hold its 20th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on November 22. The assembly will begin at 11:00 am at Sunsari Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Dharan-1.
The meeting held the last fiscal year 2081. The proposed cash dividend for 82 will be approved. The bank has decided to distribute 10 percent of the current paid-up capital of Rs 1.21 billion (including tax) from the profit of the current fiscal year.
The AGM will elect 3 directors to the board of directors on behalf of the general shareholders. The AGM will pass a special proposal assigning authority to the Board of Directors to carry out the entire process of merger and merger of other appropriate banks and financial institutions.
The meeting shall also endorse another special proposal authorizing the Board of Directors to carry out all the functions including making necessary amendments to the Articles of Association and Articles of Association as per the directives received from the regulatory body.
The meeting will approve the annual report of the last fiscal year and also approve the proposal regarding the appointment of the auditor and determination of his/her remuneration for the current fiscal year.
