Kathmandu. Today is the last day to submit bids for the purchase of more than 1.45 million shares of 5 companies that NIC Asia Bank has put up for sale through the auction process.
The bank has put up for sale 1.446 million shares of 5 companies owned by it. Including 1 million shares of Nepal Infrastructure Bank (NIFRA), 287,842 shares of Jeevan Bikash Laghubitta, 59,060 shares of Suryodaya Bomi Laghubitta, 50,000 shares of Suryajyoti Life Insurance and 50,000 shares of Nagarik Investment Fund. Bids can be submitted for the purchase of shares of these companies today during banking hours.
The minimum price of the shares put up for sale has been fixed at Rs 105 per share for NIFRA, Rs 540 for Jeevan Bikash Laghubitta, Rs 269 for Suryodaya Bomi Laghubitta, Rs 159 for Suryajyoti Life and Rs 696 for Nagarik Investment Fund. Investors will have to bid at or above the minimum price while submitting bids for the purchase of shares.
Eligible investors can submit bids for the purchase of shares of these companies. While submitting the bid, you will have to specify the number of shares you wish to purchase, and you can apply for the purchase of a maximum of all shares.
Bids can be submitted at the NIC Asia Capital office in Thapathali, Kathmandu or the corporate office and branches of NIC Asia Bank in Thapathali, Kathmandu, Biratnagar, Birgunj, Pokhara, Butwal, Dhangadhi and Birendranagar.
