Kathmandu. Today is the last day for Nepalis in foreign employment to fill the IPO of Sagar Distillery.
The company has opened the IPO sale for Nepalis in foreign employment in the first phase from August 15. In this IPO, Nepalis who are in foreign employment till the time of banking will be able to give today.
The company has received permission to issue 1.452 million units of IPO worth Rs 145.2 million, representing 20 per cent of the issued capital of Rs 726 million. Out of this, 145,200 units of shares worth Rs 14.52 million have been issued to Nepalis working abroad with face value of Rs 100 per share.
Nepalis in foreign employment will have to apply for a minimum of 10 units and a maximum of 7,000 units. Applications can be made from the banks and financial institutions participating in the ASWA service licensed by the Securities Board of Nepal and my share of CDSC.
