Kathmandu. The general public will get a loan amount of up to Rs 30 million for the construction or purchase of private residential houses.
Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) fiscal year 2082. The government has announced to increase the limit of housing loan to Rs 30 million through the 83rd monetary policy. At present, banks and financial institutions can spend a maximum of Rs 20 million for the construction or purchase of private houses.
The loan price ratio will be up to 80 percent when buying the first house and construction. Apart from this, in the case of others, a maximum of 70 percent will be done. That is, the first-time buyer can get 80 percent and the second or re-buyer can get a loan up to 70 percent of the valued property.
Banks and financial institutions invest loans to buy real estate to the general public by freezing the real estate for security.
