Kathmandu. Today, Chaitra 14, is the last day to secure the dividend of Green Development Bank. The bank is closing its books for one day tomorrow, i.e. Chaitra 15, for the purpose of the general meeting and dividend distribution. Accordingly, shareholders who have been traded on the NEPSE till today will be able to participate in the general meeting of the bank and receive the dividend distributed by the bank.
The bank has called its twelfth annual general meeting on Chaitra 27, at Hotel Peace Palace, Hari Shankar Road, Baglung Municipality-2. The meeting will begin at 11 am.
The meeting will pass a special resolution to distribute 5.75 percent bonus shares of the current paid-up capital, 0.3027 percent cash dividend for tax purposes, and issue right shares at a rate of 1.1071 percent of the paid-up capital after the distribution of bonus shares.
The meeting will pass resolutions to authorize the board of directors to amend the memorandum of association and regulations and to carry out mergers or acquisitions with other appropriate banks and financial institutions, to elect two directors to represent the general shareholders on the board of directors, and to appoint an auditor.
