Kathmandu. Today is the last day to secure the dividend of Salt Trading Corporation Limited. The company is closing its books from Chaitra 1 to 15 for the purpose of the general meeting and dividend distribution. As tomorrow, Falgun 29, Thursday, is a public holiday for Holi, shareholders who have traded on the NEPSE till today will be able to participate in the general meeting of the company and receive the dividend distributed by the company.
The company has called the 58th Annual General Meeting on Chaitra 15, Friday, at the Tribhuvan Army Officers Club, Bhadrakali, Kathmandu. The meeting will begin at 11 am.
The meeting will pass a proposal to distribute a cash dividend of Rs. 32 million (including tax) as cash dividend at the rate of 10 percent of the current paid-up capital for the fiscal year 2080.81. The meeting will approve the annual and auditor’s reports for the previous fiscal year and approve the proposal regarding the appointment of the auditor and the determination of his remuneration for the current fiscal year.
The meeting will discuss and pass the approval of taking loan facilities as per clause (b) of Section 105 (1) of the Companies Act, 2063. The meeting will approve the relief amount deposited in the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund for flood victims.
