Kathmandu. On the first day of the week, the stock market closed down by double digits. Today, the NEPSE index has decreased by 17.02 points to 2,740 points. Today, the share price of 41 companies has increased while the share price of 208 companies has decreased.
Shares of Himalayan Distillery were traded the most today with a turnover of over Rs 6.54 billion. Shares worth Rs 1.75 billion of the company were traded today. Shares worth Rs 244.7 million of Nepal Reinsurance Company were traded today. Shares of Himalayan Reinsurance Ltd were traded at Rs 233.5 million.
