Kathmandu. The stock market is up by double digits today. The NEPSE index rose by 17.28 points to close at 2736.48.
In the market that rose after 6 consecutive days of decline, 11 out of 13 groups in the NEPSE subgroup increased and 2 decreased. Today, the investment group increased the most by 1.76 percent, while the development bank group decreased the most by 0.33 percent.
Today, the share prices of 146 companies in the market increased and 88 companies decreased. The share prices of 10 companies remained stable on this day.
A turnover of about 8.25 billion rupees was recorded in the stock market today. The highest turnover was in the founder shares of Machhapuchhre Bank.
