Kathmandu. A writ petition filed against Nepal Insurance Authority (NEA) Chairman Sharad Ojha has also been kept in the Supreme Court.
A joint bench of Justices Mahesh Sharma Poudel and Nripdhwaj Niraula had tabled the writ petition against Ojha today. However, the writ has not been allowed to be seen.
Earlier, a writ petition was filed against THEA Chairman Ojha on March 27. On that day, the writ petition was placed before a division bench of Justice Binod Sharma and Mahesh Sharma Poudel. On that day, the case was kept unwatchable.
A single bench of Justice Nahakul Subedi of the Supreme Court had on April 26 refused to pass an interim order against Ojha. Subedi’s bench issued a show-cause order in the name of the government and summoned both the parties for discussion.
Advocate Indira Dhamala, who is also an agent of National Life Insurance Company, had filed a writ petition against Ojha on March 27, accusing him of submitting a fake work experience certificate to become the chairman of the Insurance Authority.
